First class will make tiles, which will then be fired in kiln; second class will paint with glazes. Finished tiles will be fired for later pickup.
Special Lecture:
Internationally acclaimed artist Luke Allsbrook will present a free public lecture on “Christianity and Creativity in Art,” on Friday, May 30, at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church. He will show pictures of his artwork, explaining how Christianity provides a basis for motivation, content and objective standards of beauty to guide the creation of artwork.
